ANOTHER THIRD WORLD ERROR FROM 9JA

GEJ has again come under the hammer after the speech he gave in London recently. One thing is that we can not stop organisations from extending invitations to him to give speeches or receive awards, whether we like it or not and whether we hail or wail here on Facebook.
I am not defending Jonathan rather I have simply decided to look at issues in proper perspective and reorder my thoughts; a thing most have refused to do. To them GEJ is bad, he is a drunk, he is not intellectually sound to lead Nigeria, he brought us to where we are, he was corrupt, he was this and he is that.

They could be right but they are mostly wrong. To say GEJ single-handedly brought us to where we are is like saying no other person or persons have ever ruled this country. Wonder how some of us could easily forget the "Ghana -must-go third term" sleaze. Wonder how some of us could easily forget the land grabs of the land use decree and the operation feed the nation scam. With the power of short memories on the part of these modern day hailers, it is easy to forget the sleaze under IBB, Gowon, Abdulsalami and Abacha. Today Abacha's name is gradually fading away from the list of corrupt past head of state. That is who we are. And today, no corrupt practises is going on under the Buhari administration?!!!
Even with all the political killings under Abacha, the introduction of state sponsored bombing under IBB, the selective fight against corruption in the first coming of Buhari which killed the likes of Bisi Onabanjo and the political assassinations under OBJ, GEJ is still regarded as the worst to have ruled this country. Pity.
He is a drunk, fine he may be but no one person can boast of not being addicted to a social vice except those who have been redeemed of the Lord. So pray tell me, who among-st our past rulers is not an addict to at least one social vice. Obj loved anything in skirt to the extent that he biological son accused him of sleeping with his wife. Abacha was importing whores all the way from India. IBB nko? Fine guy always on the prowl at night in the Obalende area of Lagos in those days. So who? Funny still are those calling him drunk who themselves are drunk. A case of taking a thief to know one.
They say he is intellectually unfit to rule, but I ask ; who amongst the past HoS's are intellectually sound? None, save Azikiwe. But Azikiwe was even a ceremonial head. It has always been regimes of blind men ruling the blinds. That is the problem of Nigeria as a nation.
Are there no positives from the GEJ's government? Of course there are but we have refused to credit him with anything. Just yesterday, I laboured in vain explaining to some people that it was GEJ who introduced TSA. To them, it was Buhari. With TSA, the sleaze in government agencies have been reduced to a manageable level. No intellectually deficient individual can do that. I told the man that it was GEJ who introduced the BVN and through that, looters with different bank accounts have been apprehended. Yet they can not understand that an intellectually deficient individual can not do that. Anyway, the truth of the matter is I pray that GEJ is brought to book. But bringing only him to book and leaving the others like OBJ, IBB and Abdulsalami is going to be a witch hunting exercise. That is the reality of the situation and that is the dilemma starring Buhari in the face which most hailers have failed to understand. If you like, bang your head on the keyboard or on the keypad of your handset, you are O-Y-O. That is the Nigerian situation. And that is why I once said selective fight against corruption would not help us or address the rot in the society. Jonathan will not be probed by your wailings on Fb, period.
Last Line:
If the government have truly recovered so much in the fight against corruption, where are the monies being kept? We have heard of the inability to feed the school children again, we have had of the inability to employ 500,000 again, we have heard about the inability to fund 2016 budget yet we have been told about the several billions recovered, so I say or I think something does not add up.
Good morning and if you must bare your fangs on me this morning, please save the energy and use it to ask the government not to increase electricity tariff and pump price before the end of this year o.

My views: When are we going to get it right and use our thinking faculty to deduce the truth from these menace called leaders! They'll be playing upon our intelligence as well as that of our future including that of our kids!
Everything in third world Nigeria is about playing Politics in the bitterest way that the old corrupt Roman Society will just be a child's play! I was engaging someone about the past governments of Nigeria, which was basically run by executive miscreants that now turned "A Change Agent"! Why should we deceives ourselves all in the name of ridden our society of corrupt practices and overlooked those in the corridor of power presently! From another news comes this excerpt:

Independent checks by The Nation revealed that the former President might have been deceived by his officials on the type of weapons that were bought for the military.

According to several military sources who asked to remain anonymous because of the “sensitivity” of the matter, many of the weapons bought under the former president were “unserviceable and useless”.

One said the Jonathan administration bought at least three fairly used (Tokunbo) Alpha Jets for the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) and two helicopters. But the jets were , the sources claimed, “not worth anything because they were not weaponised and the helicopters were cannibalised.”

It was first debunked that GEJ didn't buy any weapon now he bought "semi-functioned" apparatus! Who should we turned to for a reliable information? 21st century where the world now a global village, we are been served a half-baked information full of propaganda and lies! We were first told to make sacrifice; first six months, we were all endured that the government will soon flags out the programmes but alas, a year and five months plus we are moving a step forward follow by three steps backward! Olohun wa o! Empty promises are the other of the day, kids are learning the way of keeping up in a hard way! I will keep on reminding us about THE FRENCH REVOLUTION about the peasant who started it -hunger is everywhere and our leaders are playing bitter Politics as well as witch-hunting each other! There will be a time when common man will finds nothing to eat, rich-men that siphoned public fund will be consumed!

A Challenge to The African Leaders (Nigeria's Example)

"Be a gift to everyone who enters your life, and to everyone who’s your life you enter. Be careful not to enter another's if you cannot always be gift (you can always be a gift, because you always are the gift-yet sometimes you do not let yourself know that)" . This quote was culled from the Conversation with God: Uncommon Dialogue. Volume 2 by Weale Donald Walsch ! The life we found ourselves in is a gift, we are a gift, I am a gift and your belief is what can make you a gift if you allow your faith to manifest! Since I discovered myself to be a gift to the world, I have been threading the path of positivism always! From the spirit of given wholeheartedly to the process of helping the helpless in whatever capacity I can! This process leads to why I will always be wondering why African leaders accumulating the wealth meant the entire populace for their personal use. There are times I think the gauntlet of truth must be unveil, alas there is no resources that star...

"WHEN A LOSS IS A VICTORY" - By Dr. Wladimir Klitchsko

At the end of April I competed against Anthony Joshua , and thereby took on the greatest of all challenges: In front of 90,000 spectators in a sold-out Wembley Stadium in London – as well as a TV audience of millions in more than 150 countries – I fought the fight of my life against the 28-year-old Englishman. I competed to conquer the best of the best. Sadly, I failed to achieve my goal. The outcome was that my opponent won the fight. But despite this, and however absurd it may sound, I also left the ring victorious. In the run-up, I was 100 percent certain that I would win the duel. I had prepared as well as I could and felt I was in the best form of my life; winning back the title of World Champion was my obsession. I gave it everything during the fight. I managed to get up several times after being knocked down. I was even able to send my opponent to the canvas. But, in the end, it was Anthony Joshua who struck the decisive blow and left the ring victorious. I failed to ...

Shujaa Ernest Graham- A Rare Gem!

By profiling a man like Shujaa Graham; I am just wondering where can we find a matching example here in Nigeria? What we are witnessing today, are just self-serving leaders, who are hellbent on trampling the common man's rights without blinking! We wakes up to lots of empty promises and all they preach is patience! Chief Obafemi Awolowo, of blessed memory spoke about the decay of public affairs, a year after independence! What was the reaction? It is rhetorical when many unanswerable questions are what we could tenders to the incoming generations! Say No To Injustice! Say No To Racial Segregation!! Together we can make the world a better place to live in!!! Happy reading! A man who has shown by example that you can stand up for what you believe, and be victorious if you stand up for what you believe. Shujaa Graham was born in Lake Providence, LA, where he grew up on a plantation. His family worked as share-croppers, in the segregated South of the 50s. In 1961, he ...
