A Bad Example of African Value

No matter the difference that might have created a rancour or rancorous, an elder in African suppose to be a good example to either his subject or people from far away lands! What Oba Akiolu did to Ooni of Ife should be condemn entirely! Respect beget respect, but Baba Akiolu is a bad egg (My Opinion o)! When a kid became a king, he is the father to all and should not bow down to anybody! It is a bad trend I will not follow!

The Divided Kingdoms

F rom the past, the House of Representatives under the leadership of Right Honourable Umar Ghali Na’abba became a thorn in the flesh of the then Executive arm of government led by the indefatigable general, President Olusegun Obasanjo. They engaged themselves in accusations and counter-accusations of gross misconduct and abuse of office to which an impeachment notice was nearly serve as the last resort. The Executive arms of government have it way through the use of it power and the overbearing influence but a greater sacrifice. The allegation leveled against President Obasanjo was the alleged haphazard implementation of the budget, the inadequacies of moral standing and the flagrant misbehavior. The Checks and Balance was in play, the president was checked over the release of an unbudgeted #12Billion owed contractor that handed the building of Abuja National Stadium, etc. Another echo from the past, the House of Representatives Minority Leader of that time, Hon. Democracy: Where is The Equity and Justice (Nigeria's Perspectives)?

A democracy is of political system, or a system of decision-making within an institution, or organization, in which all members have the equal share to power. Systems of democracy stand in contrast to other forms of government, including monarchy and oligarchy. Historical origins Although it is generally believed that the concepts of democracy and constitution originated in one particular place and time, ( Ancient Athens circa 508 B.C ) there is evidence to suggest that democratic forms of government, in a broad sense, may have existed in several areas of the world well before the turn of the 5th century B.C. Within that broad sense it is plausible to assume that democracy in one form or another arises naturally in any well-bonded group, such as a tribe. ...

Political Opinion from the Achives (ADEBIYI I. KOLA)

"Actually, the union officers of our age are practitioners of the doctrine of `The Prince`. They know how to colour their nature very well, how to be great hypocrite, and surely how to deceive people or coerce them to believe they are good." Adebiyi I. Kola (The Ultimate Voice, 2003)!  My dear friend(s) where is/are your stand now? God bless you! Adebiyi I. Kola was the The English Students Association(TESA, oyscoed) President in 2003! I was touched to extract this quote! If you don`t know History, you don`t know your past! He`s living to the billing of being a vocal personality; a friend who can defend whatever he believes without a wink! He is now a fearless defender of Ajimobi`s governance! First of a series...more to come, watchout!
