ANOTHER THIRD WORLD ERROR FROM 9JA

GEJ has again come under the hammer after the speech he gave in London recently. One thing is that we can not stop organisations from extending invitations to him to give speeches or receive awards, whether we like it or not and whether we hail or wail here on Facebook.  I am not defending Jonathan rather I have simply decided to look at issues in proper perspective and reorder my thoughts; a thing most have refused to do. To them GEJ is bad, he is a drunk, he is not intellectually sound to lead Nigeria, he brought us to where we are, he was corrupt, he was this and he is that.  They could be right but they are mostly wrong. To say GEJ single-handedly brought us to where we are is like saying no other person or persons have ever ruled this country. Wonder how some of us could easily forget the  "Ghana -must-go third term" sleaze. Equality: An Aberration in The Third Worlds - Nigeria

Sparta Prague  have sent two players to train with the women’s team after they told a female assistant referee to stay in the kitchen. Lukas Vacha and Tomas Koubek were condemned by the Czech FA chairman and their club appointed them as ambassadors of the women’s team following comments they made against the assistant referee Lucie Ratajova last weekend. Ratajova failed to notice a clear offside as Sparta lost a 3-2 lead in the 92nd minute against Zbrojovka Brno following  a goal by Alois Hycka  last Sunday. After the game Vacha, the injured Sparta midfielder,  tweeted the assistant referee’s photo with a caption  reading “To the cooker”, while the goalkeeper  Tomas Koubek told the media  after the game: “In my opinion, women should stay at the stove and not officiate men’s football.” Both players issued apologies on Monday but the Czech FA chairman, Miroslav Pelta, said their statements immediately after the match “are totally unacceptable”. ...
Nigeria National Anthem reads: NIGERIANS THINK OVER THE CANKER WORMS ! An ambassadorial nominee, Alhaji Ibrahim Bida, from Niger state currently serving in Turkey shockingly failed to recite the Nigeria National pledge when asked to do so by the Chairman, Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs. Ibrahim, who is among the 47 ambassadorial nominees currently being screened, began stammering having introduced himself successfully and on getting to singing the pledge, it became difficult for him as he began to mix up the wordings. The entire 8-man Committee including its Chairman, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu burst into laughter, until James Manager intervened in completing the pledge . (Dailypost.ng) An extract from facebook page of a Nigerian  Here's a thought provoking suggestion to the government of our great country Nigeria. *A senator earns #36,000,000 monthly*.  If this is divided into two, he collects #18,000,000 and the balance * #18,000,000 can be used t...
